Description:
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Following day to day accounts, journals, invoices, and company expenses
- Preparing and execute budgets
- Coordinating with financial auditors
- Reviewing the company's financial statements to ensure they are accurate
- Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance
- Oversee the collection of outstanding credit and invoices to minimize profit loss while ensuring it is handled appropriately and per company policy
- Forecasting future financial performance
- Providing accurate financial reports to management
- Run reports and analyze data pertaining to the department and share with executive staff and managers of department staff as needed.
- Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets for virtual production projects, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency throughout the lifecycle of each project
- Ensuring compliance with government regulations
- Develop cost-control strategies and advise production teams on the most efficient use of resources without compromising creative outcomes
- Oversee independent audits
- Assess insurance needs and equipment insurance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Proficient in financial modeling and analysis.
- Contracting or similar industry experience
- Candidates based in Saudi Arabia are preferred
- XERO software knowledge or willing to learn is preferable
- Advanced Microsoft experience, mainly excel.
