Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at ALMOE Group of Companies in Riyadh. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, including managing accounts, preparing financial statements, reconciling invoices, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
- Recording of bank receipts and payments in the system
- Creation of payment vouchers and recording them properly in the system.
- Perform bank reconciliations for multiple banks.
- Perform reconciliations for intercompany transactions.
- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
- Maintaining accounts receivable
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
- Assist with other accounting projects
- Managing Inventory and sending Ageing Inventory Reports regularly to the respective persons
Qualifications
- Experience in financial record maintenance, invoice processing, and financial reporting
- Knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and coordination skills
- Accounting System (EPICOR)
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus
