Description:
In this role, you will lead a high-performance team to develop and manage complex Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) project programs. You will assist functional leads to ensure requirements are properly integrated and be responsible for overall project ES&H execution. Your leadership will help achieve ES&H performance expectations, compliance, and continuous improvement.

- Develop, review and update Health and Safety Management Plans.
- Develop and deliver a monitoring schedule including leadership tours, inspections, and audits,
- Conduct a quarterly health and safety management system audit of the Client contractor (completed within the first 6 weeks following mobilization)
- Support periodic and random inspections / visits by NEOM (Enterprise and / or LPFS).
- Develop a competency framework, including training matrix, record, and plan for their team.
- Chair weekly health and safety meetings with Client contractor’s management teams.
- Assure mandatory use of the Employers online reporting systems for health and safety.
- Assure the appointment of a sufficient number of competent health and safety resources in line with legal and the Employers requirements to enable successful delivery of their responsibilities.
- Assure the timely mobilization of health and safety resources (in line with contract requirements) and prevent demobilization of resources until completion of health and safety deliverables.
- Assure that the Client contractor provides a sufficient number of competent health and safety professionals to satisfy both legal and NEOM requirements.
- Provide leadership, direction, guidance, and technical assistance to Client contractors in relation to implementation of the HSAS.
- Assure the provision of a competent workforce from the Client contractor by regularly reviewing competency frameworks, training and inductions, and supporting the delivery of NEOM Projects or Client contractor training as required.
- Support the project managers and design consultant in delivering the required health and safety standards and performance and ensuring ongoing communication of any design issues.
- Assure that incidents are reported and investigated in accordance with the HSAS. Review and approve reports and provide technical support, guidance and recommendations, as required.
- Report to NEOM Projects on a regular basis on health and safety performance, including submittal of health and safety reports.
- Assure Client contractors develop and implement reward and recognition schemes.
- Verify that all work areas have submitted and received approval of traffic management plan and PAPI program.
- Produce weekly progress reports as well as monthly reports and statistics on health and safety for their area of responsibility.
- Lead any investigation on near misses and incidents and at the request of the Employer.
